Mission Statement: The Floyd County Memorial Library brings people, information and ideas together to enrich lives and build community.


History: The main library was opened July 1, 1953 and the next following day the Lockney Branch opened. Over 1200 people throughout the county utilized the libraries in the first four months of operation. The libraries in Floydada and Lockney have continued to grow throughout the years!
